Our Story

The year was 2015. As Mike Hawk stood outside a dilapidated Drump Tower, wondering what could possibly breathe life into this wretched street, a sudden epiphany struck him - an indie film cinema situated high up on a tower. The rest is history.

As one thing led to another, SCRN.CO expanded to support not only international indie films, but also local films - sponsoring the inaugural Larjanus Film Festival in 2017. SCRN.CO has also moved on to hosting music gigs and festivals.

We like to see ourselves as not just a cinema, but a safe space for like-minded individuals to express themselves be it through film, music or art.

Who knows what the future holds for us, but one thing is for sure, SCRN.CO is going nowhere. Plans are already in motion for our expansion to Japan and Australia, so watch this space!
